Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things people ask us most. Still unsure? Call the clinic or send us a message.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No, not for a private appointment. You'll need a GP referral if you're using a Medicare chronic condition management plan, and an approved referral or claim number for DVA, NDIS, workers compensation or CTP.

How long is the first appointment?

A first physiotherapy appointment is 45 minutes. A first pelvic health appointment is 60 minutes. Follow-ups are usually 30 minutes.

Can I claim on my health fund?

If your extras cover includes physiotherapy, you can claim on the spot with HICAPS and just pay the gap. How much your fund pays depends on your fund and level of cover.

What should I bring and wear?

Bring any scans, reports or referrals you have, your health fund card, and a list of any medications. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Shorts are handy for knee, hip or ankle problems.

Is there parking?

There's two-hour street parking on the surrounding streets, and the clinic is a short walk from public transport.

Is the clinic accessible?

Yes. The clinic is on the ground floor with a step-free entrance and an accessible bathroom. Let us know when you book if there's anything else that would help.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the time to someone else. You can change or cancel through the online booking link in your confirmation email, or by calling the clinic.

Do you see children?

We see young people aged 12 and over. A parent or guardian needs to come along to appointments for anyone under 16.

Ready to book an appointment?
