Medicare, health funds and other funding
Private health insurance: if your extras cover includes physiotherapy, you can claim on the spot with HICAPS and pay the gap. How much your fund pays depends on your fund and level of cover, so it's worth checking with them before your appointment.
Medicare: physiotherapy isn't usually covered by Medicare. If your GP has referred you under a chronic condition management plan, Medicare may cover part of the cost of a limited number of allied health visits each year. Please bring your referral to your first appointment.
DVA, NDIS, workers compensation and CTP: we see clients under these schemes with an approved referral or claim number. Please let us know when you book.
You don't need a GP referral for a private appointment.
Payment
Eftpos, credit card and HICAPS on the day.
Changes and cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel, so we can offer the time to someone else. A late cancellation fee may apply.
